30 years of selling residential real estate in the Triangle (with 14 years prior to that as a real estate paralegal) has given me the experience and knowledge to guide my customers through all aspects of real estate. I often work with my customers on transaction after transaction as they relocate here, "move up", "move out", downsize, or purchase investment property. They are continually referring their friends and family members to me for assistance -- that's proof that I care about my customers instead of just caring about getting a transaction done and getting paid.
I feel that my job is more of an educator -- pointing out to my buying customers the good and bad points about a house and whether I think it would be a good investment while their job is to tell me if they like it enough to live there -- we work as a team. When the time comes for them to sell that property, I want to be the one to sell it for them so I have a vested interest in their not making a purchasing mistake.
When I work with sellers I will be honest about the pricing -- something that some other agents may not be -- and I explain my pricing and marketing strategies so they know what to expect. I promise that my sellers will receive immediate feedback from received after all showings. I answer my phone and/or return calls as soon as I can if I'm in a meeting or driving or otherwise unable to respond immediately.
I know the popular areas for young professionals, the great retirement neighborhoods, as well as golf course communities, country club areas. If you're new to our area I'll tell you all about the great restaurants and things to do that only the locals know -- I've lived here since 1969 so I've seen a lot of changes! It really does matter who you choose as a real estate agent!
